Teaching Experience
Carter G. Woodson Middle School
Hopewell, Virginia (July 2021 - June 2024, Full Time)
Carter G Woodson Middle School is a year-round Title 1 school. I taught six classes of about 25 students each per semester. Along with six art classes, I was responsible for teaching “Pride Time” which was a 45-minute “enrichment” period for art. During seasonal breaks, I taught week-long “Intersessions” in which students signed up to create comic book art outside of a typical classroom.
